Clock ticks on Bunting

When North Carolina football coach John Bunting received a contract extension in 2004, chancellor James Moeser said, "We're going to be competitive at the very highest level." Two years later, Carolina is 1-3 and in danger of failing to finish with a winning record for the fifth time since 2001, Bunting's first season. The last time UNC went that long without topping .500 was 1964-69. (Raleigh News & Observer)
