How Danny Green has become one of UNC’s brightest NBA beacons

Danny Green, who signed a four-year $45 million contract with the Spurs in 2015, is not necessarily an NBA superstar. But he is a product UNC fans can feel good about. By all accounts, he’s made it in the NBA due to hard work. Just like he has for much of his basketball career, Green’s Tuesday performance came when it was needed, just not when it was expected.
