Kendra Lynch leads UNC softball

It's ironic that National Player of the Year Finalist Kendra Lynch holds five pitching records at UNC but is not atop the record list in any career hitting categories yet. The Indianapolis native chose to be a Tar Heel because it was a program she knew she could have a two-dimensional role in. Lynch wanted to hit, UNC offered the dual-threat player an opportunity she couldn't turn down. (WRAL Sports Fan)
