Tar Heels in desperate need of a win

North Carolina has a chance today to get its first win, build confidence and ease growing frustration. It could also absorb a blow from which it might be difficult, if not impossible, to recover. UNC will play Division I-AA Furman at 7 p.m. at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill. The game is the kind that UNC should normally win, but this season hasn't been exactly normal. UNC is 0-2 after two home losses. (Winston-Salem Journal)
