Video: Two controversial ninth-inning outs doom Tar Heels
Posted Jun 5, 2017
With the game-tying run on third with two outs, Michael Busch chopped one to first base resulting in a bang-bang play for the final out. Davidson pitcher Durin O'Linger appeared to be off the bag when he received the throw. This freeze frame of his foot proves inconclusive, or does it? UNC coach Mike Fox wasn't in the mood for excuses after the game.
