There's reason to fear Furman

The last time Furman played at Kenan Stadium, Paladins wide receiver Des Kitchings approached quarterback Justin Hill after pre-game warm-ups. "You know we're going to win this game," Hill said Kitchings told him on Oct. 30, 1999. Kitchings was right. The Paladins stunned North Carolina 28-3, becoming the only Division I-AA team ever to defeat the Tar Heels in 11 opportunities. (Charlotte Observer)
