Paladins, I-AA teams no patsies


Furman University will get $300,000 for its football game Saturday at North Carolina. UNC coach John Bunting has to hope that's all the Paladins get out of the game. At 0-2, the last thing the Tar Heels need is a loss to an NCAA Division I-AA team, but that's the chance I-A schools take when they schedule such "hold-your-breath" games. (Raleigh News & Observer)
