UNC ranked among world's best universities

Four North Carolina universities rank among the best in the world. Duke University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, N.C. State and Wake Forest University are among the top 959 colleges worldwide, according to the 2018 edition of the QS World University Rankings. UNC-CH is 80th in the QS rankings. Among public U.S. universities, it ranks 12th.
