Three Tar Heels Named To Baseball America Freshman All-America Team


Gianluca Dalatri, Josh Hiatt and Ashton McGee were named Baseball America Freshman All-Americans, the magazine announced Monday. Dalatri went 7-3 with a 3.34 ERA across 15 starts in his rookie season. Hiatt was a bullpen stalwart who registered 13 saves and had a 0.29 ERA in ACC competition. McGee hit .327 with 10 doubles and seven home runs. (GoHeels.com)
