Jen Russell Leads U.S. Past Australia in Women's Lacrosse World Cup


A dominating stretch midway through the first half carried the United States women's lacrosse team to a 15-8 victory over longtime nemesis Australia during pool play at the 2017 FIL Rathbones World Cup in Guildford, England on Friday afternoon. Former North Carolina All-America Jen Russell, a veteran defender for the U.S. team, was named the Player of the Match. (GoHeels.com)
