Miller gets loss in first decision
"Walking that guy killed me," said Andrew Miller, who only allowed one hit in two innings. "I can't be happy when I give up the winning run." Manager Jim Leyland, though, was impressed by Miller, who made his home debut just three months after being selected in the first round of the draft from UNC. "He was fantastic," he said. "The walk was a mistake, but he threw the ball extremely well." (Raleigh News & Observer)
