Heels fall to Rutgers in opener

Some of North Carolina’s players used the word “disappointing” to describe their 21-16 season-opening loss Saturday to Rutgers. Tar Heels coach John Bunting used a few stronger adjectives when discussing his team’s defensive effort. “It disgusts me,” he said. “It was a disgrace,” he added. (Kinston Free Press)
