Gameday: UNC vs. Rutgers
North Carolina opens its 2006 campaign with hopes of the program taking the next step, beginning with Saturday's season opener at home against Rutgers. The game will be televised regionally by ABC, with kickoff scheduled for 3:36 p.m. Nine of UNC’s 12 regular season opponents this season played in bowl games last year, including the Scarlet Knights.
