Team first puts 'Riders on top

Darian Durant, subbing for injured Marcus Crandell, went out and threw for 347 yards and two touchdowns against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Saturday in an eye-opening debut as a CFL starter. His performance included included driving his team down the field in the final minute for a 33-28 win. It was a performance that every bit lived up to the motto tattooed on Durant's left bicep: “Against all odds I'm gonna shine.” (Globe Sports)
