Heels' players hurting

North Carolina linebacker Durell Mapp will not start Saturday against Rutgers, and reserve tight end Richard Quinn may not play at all this season, coach John Bunting said Wednesday. Mapp, who started the final six games of last season at middle linebacker, was slated to start at weak-side linebacker. But a sprained right knee has limited his practice time, and Chase Rice will start in his place. (Raleigh News & Observer)
