The fifth-ranked Penn State women's soccer team scored seven minutes into the match and that goal held up as the Nittany Lions defeated sixth-ranked North Carolina 1-0 at Jeffrey Field. The Tar Heels finish the non-conference schedule at 4-2. UNC will have 10 days off before traveling to Tallahassee, Fla., on Sunday, September 17 to face Florida State.
