Memories of 80-20 loss at UNC linger, but ODU different team now

The hardest thing for a competitor to do is wave the white flag. But for Old Dominion coach Bobby Wilder, it wasn’t the 60-point margin his team faced. It was seeing one player after another hobbling off the field. So on that day nearly four years ago, Wilder requested the fourth quarter be shortened from 15 minutes to 10. UNC coach Larry Fedora graciously agreed.
