ODU struggles in 53-23 loss to North Carolina

True freshman quarterback Steven Williams Jr. made his Old Dominion debut late in the second quarter and ignited a dormant Monarchs offense. By then it was much too late; North Carolina had sprinted to a 39-7 lead by the time Williams checked in and would cruise to a 53-23 victory. But the play of the 17-year-old Williams is what ODU fans likely will remember.
