UNC Attempting to Solve Third Down Woes

UNC’s battered and inexperienced offense has exceeded preseason expectations to date, although its struggles on third down have limited its overall production. The Tar Heels are converting 36.8 percent of their third downs, which is 89th nationally and 11th in the ACC. For Larry Fedora’s offense to establish a rhythm and push tempo, the chains have to be constantly moving.
