Injuries, inexperience have Tar Heels in eye of perfect storm

It has both rained and poured on UNC football in 2017. Just 11 of the 22 Tar Heels who started the Sun Bowl last December were back in the starting lineup for the season opener against Cal. So this was always going to be a year of youth. But the injury bug has bitten the Tar Heels unusually hard, and the tough task that awaited this rebuilding team has only gotten tougher.
