Alessia Russo Named Soccer National Player of the Week by Coaches Association


Seven student-athletes have received Player of the Week honors from United Soccer Coaches, the association announced Tuesday. At the NCAA Division I level, University of North Carolina freshman forward Alessia Russo (Kent, England) earned this week's honor after scoring three goals in road wins at Miami and No. 15-ranked Wake Forest.
