UNC's Fedora has easier recruiting road with end of NCAA academic case

Larry Fedora was hired in 2011 as the NCAA was wrapping up an initial investigation into the football program that spawned the academic case. He said after Saturday's loss that he had been "numb" about the case for a long time. But it had been a constant topic in recruiting, from recruits' families asking questions to schools using it against UNC on the recruiting trail.
