Larry Fedora Tasked with Salvaging UNC's 2017 Season

Larry Fedora has entered uncharted territory. In his 10 years as a Division I head coach, the 55-year-old has never failed to secure postseason eligibility. The 2017 season will be his first, and how he responds will determine the future trajectory of his North Carolina program. Fedora, who signed a contract extension in May through the 2022 season, is not at risk of losing his job.
