Point guard Jonathan Kabongo commits to Virginia Tech

Jonathan Kabongo, rated the No. 35 high school senior point guard in the nation by ESPN, announced that he has decided to play basketball at Virginia Tech next season. The 6-foot-1, 178-pound Kabongo is a Toronto native who previously played for Huntington Prep in West Virginia. He also had offers from Indiana, Missouri and Washington State. He visited Virginia Tech this weekend. (Roanoke Times)
