Rib injury sends Walker to sideline

North Carolina senior D.J. Walker, the top candidate to replace the injured Trimane Goddard at strong safety, missed Wednesday morning's practice while nursing bruised ribs. Walker is expected to be out a couple of days, as are freshman running back Johnny White (sprained ankle) and tight end Rock Wells (sprained knee). (Greensboro News & Record)
