Bobcats to play 2 at Smith Center

The Charlotte Bobcats will play an eight-game preseason schedule, including two games at Chapel Hill's Smith Center, the team announced Thursday. The Bobcats, with former North Carolina players Sean May and Raymond Felton, will play the Washington Wizards (with their own set of ex-Tar Heels in Antawn Jamison and Brendan Haywood) at the Smith Center on Oct. 17. On Oct. 27, the Atlanta Hawks and Marvin Williams visit the Smith Center. (Charlotte Observer)
