Passion for basketball allowed Jeff Capel Jr. to influence many

Other than his family, Jeff Capel Jr.’s greatest passion in life was the game of basketball. So, it was appropriate that a celebration of Capel’s life took place Sunday at the school where he pursued that passion. Family, friends, former players and coaches gathered at Fayetteville State University’s Capel Arena – named for his father Felton J. Capel Sr. – to share memories and honor Capel.
