Tar Heels stall in frustrating finale

Nathan Elliott’s perfect mark as a starting quarterback for UNC came to an end Saturday as the Tar Heels’ season concluded with a 33-21 loss to host North Carolina State. He bemoaned his two interceptions, which came as part of his 21-for-45 passing for 277 yards with three touchdowns. North Carolina won its previous two games, both with Elliott as the starter.
