UNC scored just 45 points in its 73 possessions against Michigan State, a Roy Williams era-low points per possession of 0.62. While dreadful 3-point shooting (1-18) and a mediocre performance at the foul line (14-24) certainly contributed, the Heels’ inability to finish near the hoop was perhaps their most glaring offensive shortcoming. Let’s dig a little deeper.
