Recruiting: Perry lineman commits to North Carolina

The University of North Carolina had the antidote to put an end to the recruiting battle for Perry Traditional Academy offensive lineman Cameron Holland. Holland, who plans to major in pharmacy, gave a verbal commitment to the Tar Heels yesterday. The 6-foot-3, 280-pound senior-to-be chose North Carolina over Division I offers from Pitt, Kentucky, Bowling Green, Temple and Toledo. What sold Holland was a trip he made to Chapel Hill last weekend.
