North Carolina adds two to football class


North Carolina has added two more players to its 2007 football-recruiting class, landing a defensive lineman and a defensive back, both from in-state high schools. The commitments came from Miguel Chavis, a 6-4, 258-pound defensive end from Sanford High School in Fayetteville, and Emanuel Davis, a 5-11, 195-pound safety from Manteo High.
