UNC's Fortunes Tied to Effort & Intensity


Twice late in Monday’s 80-69 loss at Cassell Coliseum, North Carolina had a defender make a good enough play in transition to force a Virginia Tech miss at the rim. Both times, however, a trailing Hokie was in position for an uncontested putback. It was hustle plays such as those that drew ’ ire in his postgame press conference yet again. (Inside Carolina)
