Tar Heels deal with twist: Rest

North Carolina's players weren't used to having so many days off. The Tar Heels played only three games before the best-of-3 championship round of the College World Series, which began with Game 1 late Friday. Oregon State played five games leading up to the championship round. The time off hasn't affected the Tar Heels' concentration. (Charlotte Observer)
