Theo Pinson's name appeared in the play-by-play of North Carolina’s win over Syracuse 36 times. The senior wing scored a career-high 23 points, grabbed six rebounds, dished out seven assists and made three steals. His stat line lacked only a blocked shot. And yet the magnitude of Pinson’s performance is not properly characterized on those pieces of paper.
