Diamond Heels out hit St. John's but fall 5-2


No. 6 North Carolina dropped its second straight game on Wednesday, a 5-2 loss to visiting St. John's. The Tar Heels out hit St. John's, 10-8, but went just 2-19 with runners on base. Wednesday's loss marks the first time since 1962 that the Tar Heels have dropped their first two home games. UNC will play ECU Friday at 5 p.m. in Greenville as a part of a three-game set.
