UNC Softball Tops Harvard in Carolina Classic Finale

With home runs off the bats of Kristina Burkhardt and Hailey Jensen, North Carolina defeated Harvard, 6-1, to wrap up the Carolina Classic Sunday at Anderson Stadium. Limiting Harvard to three hits, Brittany Pickett threw her ninth complete game of the season while the Tar Heels improve to 7-13. Burkhardt led the Tar Heels, going 4-for-4 at the plate with two RBI.
