UNC turnout strong

It isn't the NCAA Final Four or the Orange Bowl, but North Carolina's fans are responding favorably to the Tar Heels baseball team's first trip to the College World Series since 1989. Along with the other seven teams at the event, UNC was allotted 400 tickets. All were taken quickly. "Our fan base here is impressive, I think," UNC athletics director Dick Baddour said Saturday. "When you think about how long a trip this is for most of our fans, I couldn't be happier."
