Heels win it in 13th

If you go by Eastern time, North Carolina's baseball team started a game Friday, finished Saturday and now has to get ready to deal with Clemson on Sunday. Such was the marathon experience the gritty Tar Heels went through in their first trip to the College World Series since 1989. After 13 innings and almost five hours, Carolina finally wheeled out of Rosenblatt Stadium with a 7-5 win over Cal State Fullerton. (Raleigh News & Observer)
