Champion Tar Heel, Reilley's regular dies

Clad in his UNC basketball jersey, a young Bobby Cunningham smiles down from a 1950s photo posted near the entrance of Reilley's Grill and Bar. Cunningham spent, by all accounts, many afternoons talking sports and playfully ribbing friends at their hangout on the south end of Hilton Head Island. Cunningham, a guard for the Tar Heels' undefeated 1957 NCAA championship basketball team, died Tuesday morning at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. (Beaufort Gazette)
