There are certain moments that, for one reason or another, stick with me. One of them involves an eighth-grader hitting 3-pointers and reverse dunking like an NBA All-Star in a local tournament. That was Nazreon Reid at Rebounds in Neptune during the Hoop Group’s annual middle school tournament, where I’d ventured because the buzz surrounding him had become deafening.
