David Noel says football can wait

David Noel won't accept being written off as a football player in short pants. Check that: For now, he doesn't want to be a football player in short pants. He has already auditioned for five NBA teams (Knicks, Bulls, Warriors, Kings and Jazz) and he could be drafted in the second round as, well, an athlete. If he's not drafted, or if the team drafting him expresses little interest, Noel will have to decide how best to spend July. (Charlotte Observer)
