Memphis shouldn’t hire Larry Brown as an assistant because all three programs he led wound up with NCAA sanctions. Memphis should hire Brown because he’s an awesome basketball coach. Memphis shouldn’t hire Brown because he misled investigators during his last coaching gig, at SMU. Memphis should hire Brown because he’s an awesome basketball coach.
