No. 8 North Carolina got out to a big lead with five runs in the second inning and never looked back as the Tar Heels captured a 9-3 win over Georgia Tech on Friday at Boshamer Stadium (Highlights). The Tar Heels will be back in action Saturday against the Yellow Jackets in game two of the series. Austin Bergner will throw the first pitch scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
