Waiting is worthwhile for pitchers

Most people attend college to get a better job and make more money. Andrew Miller and Daniel Bard are ready to attain that goal just three years into their academic careers, because each has a skill that isn't being exported to India to be performed at a cheaper rate. Each can throw a baseball faster than 90 miles per hour and place it reasonably close to the spot at which he was aiming. (Chapel Hill News)
