Tar Heels more than three great pitchers
After flaming out of the ACC Tournament, the Tar Heels will try and let the good vibes take over when they open play today in the NCAA Tournament against Maine at Boshamer Stadium at 6 p.m. The Tar Heels set a program record with 45 wins in the regular season to claim the ACC's Coastal Division. Nationally, only Clemson, Virginia and Rice have more victories this year, and the total is the third best in UNC program history. (Durham Herald-Sun)
