Tar Heels hold NCAA regional after all


The ACC baseball tournament is over, and after the dust has settled, Clemson stands alone. N.C. State, who surpassed everyone's expectations by making a gallant run to the title game, surprised North Carolina. That was about as regal as it got for UNC last weekend in Jacksonville, Fla. But there is good news, nay, great news. The Tar Heels have lived to fight another day and they will fight on their home turf. (Rocky Mount Telegram)
