North Carolina falls to Pitt 5-4, will not advance to ACC Tournament Semifinals

No. 5 North Carolina lost to Pittsburgh 5-4 on Wednesday in its ACC Baseball Championship opener. With the loss, the Tar Heels will not advance out of the group but will still play Georgia Tech on Friday at 3 p.m. With a runner on second in the top of the ninth inning, Brandon Riley sent a shot to center field, but it was caught at the warning track to end the game.
