Dré Bly is one of Many Detroit Lions who Gives Back to Kids
A two-time Pro Bowler, Bly’s name obviously carries a lot weight. Anything he chooses to promote is likely to receive a lot of attention. Earlier in the offseason, he was approached by the Carolina Pros Foundation, an group formed by Rick Fox, King Rice and Jerry Stackhouse, who all played basketball at North Carolina. Bly was asked if he wanted to participate in putting on a golf tournament in Chapel Hill, NC to benefit his foundation. “They came to me with the idea of possibly doing an event – possibly having a football merger with basketball, which is a great cause,” said Bly.
