Heels Headed to Omaha
Posted Jun 9, 2018
North Carolina struck early and held off a late Stetson rally in Saturday’s 7-5 victory to sweep the Super Regional and claim its seventh College World Series berth since 2006 and its first since 2013. The Tar Heels (43-18) took a business-like approach in winning last weekend’s Chapel Hill Regional, deciding against a dogpile to celebrate the victory.
