Minor League Notes: Brandon Riley provides production in first professional game


Former Diamond Heel Brandon Riley’s first professional baseball game included an RBI double and a walk in a 1-for-4 outing Friday for the Johnson City Cardinals in the Appalachian League. Former North Carolina pitcher of the New Orleans Baby Cakes (Miami Marlins affiliate) was picked for the Pacific Coast League All-Star team. (Burlington Times News)
